Les seize inspecteurs et inspectrices scolaires sont encadrés de façon centralisée, mais leur rayon d’action est organisé de manière décentralisée dans les cinq inspections régionales Oberland bernois, Berne-Mittelland, Emmental/Haute-Argovie, Bienne-Seeland et Jura bernois. Ensemble, ils constituent la Section de la surveillance scolaire et travaillent selon un mandat légal (loi sur l’école obligatoire, plans d’études cantonaux, Stratégie de la formation, Charte de la Direction de l’instruction publique). Ils soutiennent et surveillent les écoles enfantines, primaires et secondaires (toutes sections confondues) ainsi que les écoles privées. Ils sont par ailleurs les interlocuteurs principaux des directions d’école, des autorités et des enseignants et enseignantes. |
