Pensionskasse

Die berufliche Vorsorge ist die zweite Säule der Schweizer Sozialvorsorge und eine Pflichtversicherung für alle Arbeitnehmenden. Sie soll zusammen mit der ersten Säule den Versicherten nach der Pensionierung die Fortsetzung des Lebensstandards in angemessener Weise ermöglichen. Die zweite Säule versichert zudem die Risiken Tod und Invalidität.

Beiträge zur beruflichen Vorsorge müssen ab dem 1. Januar nach Vollendung des 17. Altersjahres geleistet werden, sofern der AHV-pflichtigen Jahreslohn den erforderlichen Mindestlohn übersteigt.

Lehrpersonen im Kanton Bern sind in der Regel bei der Bernischen Lehrerversicherungskasse (BLVK) versichert, vereinzelt bei der Bernischen Pensionskasse (BPK).

Caisse de pension

La prévoyance professionnelle constitue le deuxième pilier du système suisse de prévoyance sociale. Il s’agit d’une assurance obligatoire pour tous les employés et employées, qui vise à permettre aux assurés de maintenir un niveau de vie adéquat à la retraite. Ce deuxième pilier assure également contre les risques de décès et d’invalidité.

Les personnes employées sont soumises à la prévoyance professionnelle dès le 1^er janvier qui suit la date à laquelle elles ont eu 17 ans, à condition que leur revenu annuel assujetti à l’AVS dépasse le salaire minimum requis.

En règle générale, les enseignants et enseignantes bernois sont assurés auprès de la Caisse d’assurance du corps enseignant bernois (CACEB). Certains le sont auprès de la Caisse de pension bernoise (CPB).
